Prebuilt binaries, installed straight from GitHub Releases.
Discord bot for a 6-person team's daily standup ritual.
curl -fsSL https://get.graditya.com/dispatchd | sudo sh
sudo is needed because dispatchd installs to
/usr/local/bin so its systemd service can find it. Pin a
version with DISPATCHD_VERSION, or install to a
directory you own (no sudo) with INSTALL_DIR —
see
docs/installing.md
for the full set of options and the systemd setup that follows.
Also here: the bot's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, the URLs Discord asks for once a bot needs verification.
There's no separate update command — re-run the same install command and it overwrites the existing binary with the latest release:
curl -fsSL https://get.graditya.com/dispatchd | sudo sh
If dispatchd.service is running, the installer offers to
restart it. Check what's currently installed with
dispatchd --version.
sudo dispatchd service uninstall
sudo rm /usr/local/bin/dispatchd
Swap /usr/local/bin for your INSTALL_DIR if
you overrode it at install time.
