These terms govern your use of the dispatchd Discord bot as operated by the person who added it to your Discord server (the “operator”). By using the bot's commands, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the bot.
dispatchd automates a team's daily standup ritual inside one Discord server: it prompts team members for their todos and progress, mirrors those submissions into a daily thread, sends reminders, and lets the team lead pull a periodic recap. It is a convenience tool, not a system of record, and is intended for a small, known group of team members that the operator configures.
dispatchd is self-hosted: this instance is run by the operator on their own infrastructure. The dispatchd authors and contributors provide the software under the Apache-2.0 licence and are not the operator, do not host or administer this instance, and are a party to these terms only as the licensor of the underlying software.

The operator may restrict or revoke your access to the bot at any time, including by removing you from the configured team roster.
The bot is provided on a best-effort basis. The operator may modify, suspend, or discontinue the instance at any time, with or without notice, and is under no obligation to retain or return data (subject to the Privacy Policy).
dispatchd is free and open-source software provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. The operator does not warrant that the bot will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders or syncs will always be delivered on time.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither the operator nor the authors and contributors of dispatchd shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the bot.
The dispatchd software itself is licensed under the Apache-2.0 licence. These terms cover your use of a running instance of the bot; they do not limit your rights in the source code, which are governed by that licence. Source: github.com/oxGrad/dispatchd.
Updated terms will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date. Continued use of the bot after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
